10,000 Ways to Live Large on a Small Budget

10,001 Ways to Live Large on a Small Budget by Wisebread is the first book I have read in a long time containing so many helpful tips and hints. The book is very basic, which makes it a simple to follow. All of the topics are nicely organized. This book would be especially helpful for anyone that doesn’t have internet  access (since a lot of these tips can be found scattered on the internet), or someone who likes to read away from the computer. The tips and advice are all packed into one place. “10,001 Way to Live Large on a Small Budget” would also make an excellent gift.

I really like that the tips and advice given in this book were not too frugal. The writers don’t suggest that you quit using toilet paper, live off of beans and rice, or even stop going out to eat. The idea is how to live large on a small budget as the title proclaims. This is especially well taught in the section titled “8 Tips for Getting the Most from All-You-Can-Eat Buffets”.

In this book, many of the tips included some silly humor from the writers. This was ok. I guess it’s what separates this book from others out there. It wouldn’t be a good book without some type of footprint left in the mind to make it memorable.

This is a great book to keep out on the coffee table, in the bathroom, bedroom, car, office, or anywhere else that makes it convenient to grab. You can pick it up and just read a paragraph or two, or you can sit and read it for an hour. Either way, it’s a winner, and you’ll get something out of it!

  1. Wow. Right up the alley of my infant-blog. Maybe one day it will grow up and become an offline book. Ahhhh. Thanks for sharing. Dylan
